About Me

Who is Abby Yohn? That's a good question. One that takes quite awhile to explain, which is why I've started this blog. Hopefully who I am will be explained through the posts and pages posted throughout the life of this blog.

My family is the best place to start. I am the second of eight kids. Yes, I said eight! No, none of us were adopted. No, my parents did not get divorced and then remarried. No, none of us kids share birthdays. And no, we're not catholic. Those were just some of the answers to questions my family has been asked over the years. One positive answer to a question is that we were homeschooled. After I graduated, or as I like to say retired, from high school, I attended Southwest Baptist University and graduated with a bachelors degree in English education. The last three years I've worked in the public school system as a high school teacher.

Why am I writing this blog? That's another valid question. My main purpose is to share my everyday life and any adventures/travels I partake in from here on until I either die or stop blogging. So expect to see posts that may or may not include pictures about what's going on in my life.
